CHARACTERISTICS OF THE GOLD IB NIB

This italic/broad nib is a modified version of nib size B, broad, combined with several of the handwriting properties of the italic nib. This nib enables a letter line style that is highly rich in variation.

A stroke of this nib can produce a broad vertical line along with a fine horizontal one without scratching when doing so. The nib tip has a slightly softer finish than the hard nib edges of a classic italic nib, which makes for a particularly nice effect for stroke width variation and, most of all, a soft handwriting experience.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE GOLD BB NIB

An amplification of the regular B nib, it puts more volume into your handwriting. The large iridium tip also makes the contact surface larger, which helps put a rich volume of ink on the paper. It enables a soft writing experience that is particularly effective with a more excessive handwriting style.
